Vision 2020 – National Campaign for Equality

Oct 11-13 in Chicago ~ 2011 Conference “Vision + Action = Equality in Motion”.

One of my favorite partners is Drexel University College of Medicine Institute for Women’s Health and Leadership (IWHL). As a formal Drexel employee, I had the opportunity to work with this organization and the powerful missions that they led, in keeping Drexel Med’s strong history as the first women medical school in the world. IWHL leads programs in the tradition of women education, empowerment and health advancements. Even after leaving my full-time position at Drexel, I often work with this incredible group of women and I have become a fervent advocate for the Drexel University IWHL’s Vision 2020 National Campaign for Equality. Most recently, PPbyTT supported the Vision 2020 meeting of hundreds of the nation’s women leaders, as they gathered for equality in Chicago, IL, during this past politically volatile October. I assisted in coordinating event support for the conference’s monumental presentations, workshops, VIP Dinner, Public Rally and the “Kudo’s & Comedy Awards Ceremony” featuring comedy skits by Chicago’s Famous Second City Comedy Troupe. Vision 2020 is working to raise awareness about gender equality through a network of National Delegates—women leaders from all 50 states–to bring America closer to equality.

The main sponsor of this campaign is Penn Mutual, coincidently my husband’s company. My husband, Michael Nyszczot and his cousin, were so supportive in joining us in Chicago to cheer on the Vision 2020 cause and enjoy some comedy! 🙂 Penn Mutual and Drexel Vision 2020 are PPbyTT’s partners for the Resolution of Empowerment event on Jan 5th.
