Tis the Season for Decorating, one of my Family’s Favorite Festive Activities! While I’m striving to be more minimalist, this year I’m going for simplistically elegant with (ivory, gold, and champagne colors) and back to more traditional and natural look (intertwining burlap rustic and pine cones).
To entice all the senses with the “Spirit of the Season” (and to get the storage-stink out of your decor), I created this lovely room spray (recipe below). The spritz includes the famous Thieves blend, giving your home an immunity boost during (the simultaneous) Cold & Flu Season!
Now, I spray ALL of my decorations, especially those that were stored in my crawl space (PU—it does not smell like Christmas when we open those boxes!). My kids help spray the wreaths, flowers, garland, linens, etc. with this non-toxic, plant-powered spray which has a super power immunity booster, found in all Thieves Blends!
RECIPE – How To DIY “Spirit of the Season Spray”
SPRAY BOTTLE (Clear best if you add the Pine Branch)
- WITCH HAZEL – 1/2 tsp
- YOUNG LIVING – CHRISTMAS SPIRIT – 3 drops
- YOUNG LIVING – THIEVES – 1 drop
- PINE BRANCH (optional – throw in a real pine tree branch for a festive site and enhanced scent)!
- DISTILLED WATER – fill with about 6oz (to top of the bottle)
