Rise Gatherings: Mission to Inspire Community and to Empower Women and Girls

Since relaunching my wellness work, I am really enjoying the local groups uplifting professionals that I am mingling amongst! I was so excited to stumble upon this gang of empowering and earthy ladies at Rise Gatherings! During their recent Rise Night Out, I had a blast and felt like I re-centered myself in perfect time for the New Years!

My business partner and I enjoyed a party with a purpose at Gypsy Blue’s rustic oasis! We got some “self love” with the complementary henna tattoos, painting with heart, a drum circle, belly dancing, card reading and most importantly meeting women who want to help each other and make the world a better place!

Now that they are on my radar, I love Rise Gatherings’ mission to inspire community and to empower women & girls. Together, it’s a mission we know we can achieve. Their campaign Days for Girls raises awareness for menstrual hygiene solutions in places needed most!

Menstrual hygiene may seem like a simple issue, but it’s also one that greatly impacts many areas of a woman or girl’s life. Every girl and woman has inherent worth and dignity.

Days for Girls – Menstrual Hygiene

Days for Girls celebrates this by providing washable menstrual hygiene solutions, health education, and social enterprises to help them reach the last mile in their own communities.

Starting at just $10, you can provide a girl with a “Days for Girls Kit” that keeps her from missing up to three months of school each year. Days for Girls is an amazing organization! I am in awe of the concept that just $10 can give a girl sustainable menstrual hygiene for 3 – 5 years, which empowers her education, confidence and life!

When we mobilize girls and women through health and education opportunities, their communities and our world grow stronger.
