As an advocate of nature, the power of plants and health education, Tracy’s path naturally led her to the #PlantsPower Community! The start of her journey using distilled plants (aka essential oils), marks a rebirth of her wellness enterprise and a celebration of personal “Wellness Renaissance”!

WHAT IS A “WELLNESS RENAISSANCE”?
Like most women in their 30s, Tracy had her own health issues and didn’t feel very “well”. The most debilitating time was following the birth of her second child. For years, she was on a medical wild goose chase until she empowered herself to return to her inclination for holistic treatments, alternative therapies and #PlantsPower! As a “history nerd”, she was always amazed by the Renaissance, a time of “Rebirth” in Europe’s 14th-17th centuries. This was a period of great change and the coming out of the dark ages. It is similar to what is happening today, as we enlighten ourselves to all the toxins around us, empower ourselves to do our own research and find chemical replacements in nature. We are revolting against the status-quo for a rebirth of optimal health by employing medicinal plants and ancient wisdom.
Now, Tracy utilizes #PlantsPower to face her health challenges and protect her family against harsh chemicals! Although she never envisioned that she would be a part of a multilevel marketing organization or sell product, oils just came naturally! Tracy bought a Starter Kit, originally thinking it would only be for her family; however, just buying a kit allows anyone to be part of Young Living’s unique compensation plan, with rewards and freebies. Tracy loved the lifestyle change that oils easily provided for her family to achieve objectives of incorporating more plants (and their benefits) into today’s busy life! She just naturally started sharing her story with her friends and family.

THE ROOTS OF TRACY AND PPBYTT.BLOG COMMUNITY?
After unfulfilling agency jobs following college, Tracy considered joining the Peace Corp or AmeriCorps, with the dream of helping families in need. However, she wanted to stay local with her now-husband. An opportunity to help those in her area presented itself to assist the impoverished children of the poorest, most dangerous city in America…through gardening.

Camden, NJ was more of a calling than a career! Tracy spent ten years managing Public Relations and Events at the Camden Childrens Garden (CCG). She felt truly blessed to be helping families and working in the beautiful 4.5 acre garden on Camden’s waterfront and transforming 100s of trashed lots into food-producing gardens! Tracy cherished her time promoting the cause, as well as, mentoring Camden youth and growing the Camden Community & School Gardening Program.

Tracy cultivated relationships with health leaders, green partnerships and media, to grow the CCG’s mission through accomplishments such as:
