Although I am not ready for this season, or to post about the How To Holidays, the time is upon us — we must prepare. Just look to the calendar, listen to the cheery radio and see the all those aisles of holiday stuff in every store (before Halloween btw!!!) Tis the Season for Gift Giving!
So, toss those pumpkins (don’t forget to leave them out for the wildlife to eat!) and take out the tinsel, it’s Christmas time! Actually, skip the tinsel because we are going for a rustic natural cozy Holiday Season!
GIVE THOUGHTFUL GIFTS
As a “giver” by nature, I love using this time to spread some cheer and thank those who help throughout the year (e.g. teachers, mailman, neighbors, friends, YMCA staff, etc)!
Entrepreneurs can also utilize these gifts to promote their business and mission while gift-giving. (Always be sure to brand your gifts and thank your clients, partners and vendors.)
I used to make dozens of cookies and candy tins en masse; however, that does not fit my mission and who needs more of that junk? These days, I utilize this time as an opportunity to spread the joy of plants to the masses! So, here are some unique ideas to make your giftees feel the love of the season, as well as, and healthy in the new year!
