I know I’ve mentioned her husband social media sensation Jay Shetty on the blog before, as I’m a fan, but I have to say I LOVE his wife sooo much! Her energy, her quirkiness and awesome plant-based recipes!!!!Plus, we love a woman entrepreneur and with this power couple’s purposeful mission, this blog post is totally on our mission!

Here’s a little background to find out what brought Radhi to this point in her life and why plant-based food?
While growing up, Radhi was a bit chubby and she was bullied. She turned to yoga, meditation, and diet change to help her lose weight in a healthy way! This inspired her career choice, majoring in Nutrition in college(university) and she became a specialist in Dietetics. Radhi’s inspiration to develop vegan recipes came from a traditional Indian medicine known as Ayurveda.
Her and her husband Jay each have their own platforms and are social media sensations! She is famous for giving quality tips regarding plant-based diets, inspirational exercises and she even designs the menu at the vegan restaurant OmNom in London. With her video recipes for iced tahini matcha lattes, charred turmeric fennel, and Japanese squash burgers (many set to music with TikTok-inspired dance breaks), Radhi makes cooking look spirited, fun, and very delicious.
Nightshade-Free Plant-Based Cooking
We really appreciate that she has Nightshade-free recipes that are plant-based. It’s hard to believe that not all vegetables are good for you but nightshades (tomatoes, peppers and eggplants) can be bad for your gut health, which causes inflammation, arthritis, autoimmune markers and other issues. We will be posting more about the Naughty Nightshades, but bookmark this chef for avoiding these surprisingly unhealthy plants.
