As we are based in the Philadelphia suburbs, we were inspired by this BillyPenn.com article. List curators are hoping to build up and promote Black Business Owners in the Philadelphia area. Most major cities in the USA are similarly organizing information into easily-accessible lists and even apps!

More on This Team: Mike has been a licensed real estate agent with Keller Williams for over five years. He is also a United States Marine Corps veteran and served a five month tour in Iraq. Mike had an extensive work history in a variety of sales roles and spent several years in the mortgage business as a loan officer before becoming a real estate agent, so his experience set him up well for success in the real estate world. After only a couple of years as an agent, Mike expanded his team to include 4 additional members including his wife, Sarah. Mike and his team continually achieve top performance goals at their Keller Williams market center in Horsham, PA, and this year Mike was awarded the KW Horsham Cultural Icon award for 2020–one of the highest honors given by Keller Williams Realty. Sarah has over a decade of experience in corporate marketing, and left the corporate world in December 2019 to join forces with her husband, Mike, at Homefront Properties Group. Around the time Sarah was leaving her corporate position, they purchased their first rental property in the Poconos. Six months later they now own three properties in the Pocono area that are consistently rented throughout the year by skiers, hiking groups, summer vacationers and travelers from around the country.
Roles: Mike is the Owner and “face” of Homefront Properties Group. He is the lead sales agent, works with buyers, sellers and investors and recruits new agents to the team. Sarah is the marketing arm of the business and manages all of Homefront Properties Group’s social media channels, updates their website, and plans client events for the team. She is also the property manager for their rental portfolio and will be obtaining her real estate license this fall.
