We had to share an upcoming event organized by one of our favorite natural food and mood experts Trudy Scott and her panel of integrative doctors. This group has assembled to help sufferers of fibromyalgia or those with chronic undiagnosed pain and symptoms.
If you have ever injured yourself, you know how it feels to be in pain, go through the medication cycle (when to and not to medicate confusion), and also how difficult it is to have someone take care of you or your family. Those with chronic pain are in that boat for years, not to mention the long term affects on your mental health and relationships. In our blog post, Tracy discussed her experience with (air quotes) “fibromyalgia” which is another word for lack of diagnosis! Actually, after exploring the medical pain management cycle, she was worse than she started, but thankfully found much relief in natural changes like adding supplements, an anti-inflammatory diet and seeing a neurokinetic therapist. In addition, using essential oils to switch out the toxic products all around the house, which can cause all the symptoms under the fibromyalgia umbrella.
Tracy also finds lots of gems of information from Food Mood Expert Trudy Scott. Trudy is a certified nutritionist on a mission to educate and empower anxious individuals worldwide about natural solutions for anxiety, stress and emotional eating.
Trudy is the author of The Antianxiety Food Solution: How the Foods You Eat Can Help You Calm Your Anxious Mind, Improve Your Mood and End Cravings and host of The Anxiety Summit that has been called a “bouquet of hope”
Trudy Scott is often gathering experts for an integrated medical discussion that really helps people through natural methods. You can now do early registration for The Fibro Summit, airing online September 28 – October 4, 2020.
Fibromyalgia often has a long list of common symptoms: chronic fatigue, widespread pain, brain fog, poor sleep, low moods, IBS and also anxiety.
Treatment generally includes pain and symptom management, but conventional medicine and drug therapy alone are a dead end; there are simply too many symptoms, and alternative treatments aren’t widely known.
But there are proven functional medicine protocols that can help overcome your fibro symptoms! Learn to find and fix the underlying causes of your symptoms so you can feel good again!
Your host, Dr. Rodger Murphree, has devoted his functional medicine practice to specializing in fibromyalgia for 20+ years. He’s found that by focusing on fixing the underlying causes of fibromyalgia symptoms, patients can see dramatic improvements in their fibro symptoms. His mission is to spread the word that with the right information, patients can learn how to overcome fibromyalgia, not just “live with it,” and actually get their lives back.
He’s here to help you by sharing what he’s learned about this complicated illness!

Be sure to tune into Dr. Dan Kalish’s interview: Brain Chemistry Deficiencies That Cause Fibromyalgia Symptoms once the summit starts. Low serotonin is a common underlying factor for fibro pain, anxiety, depression and insomnia – and there is much evidence that 5-HTP and tryptophan helps tremendously!
