As an advocate of nature, the power of plants and health education, Tracy’s path naturally led her to, what she calls a “Wellness Renaissance”. Also featured in her blog and events, the last few years, marked a rebirth of her wellness enterprise and a celebration of personal “Wellness Renaissance” with the revival of (what she calls) #PlantsPower!

WHAT IS A “WELLNESS RENAISSANCE”?
Like most women in their 30s, Tracy had her own health issues and didn’t feel very “well”. The most debilitating time was following the birth of her second child. For years, she was on a medical wild goose chase until she empowered herself to return to her inclination for holistic treatments, alternative therapies and #PlantsPower! As a “history nerd”, she was always amazed by the Renaissance, a time of “Rebirth” in Europe’s 14th-17th centuries. This was a period of great change and the coming out of the dark ages. It is similar to what is happening today, as we enlighten ourselves to all the toxins around us, empower ourselves to do our own research and find chemical replacements in nature. We are revolting against the status-quo for a rebirth of optimal health by employing medicinal plants and ancient wisdom. Through several holistic influencers, resources and resources, Tracy learned something and keeps learning, on this journey and she is here to share the good news!

THE ROOTS OF TRACY AND THE BLOG COMMUNITY
Tracy grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA, with her family. While the males in her family were outdoors men, who sometimes hang nature on the walls, Tracy preferred to observe and grow her nature with tons of pets and a lifelong love of plants. She attended college in the mountains of Pennsylvania, where she further embraced the wildlife around her. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Major in Communications and Minor in English. So, with these degrees she could work in any field, but it had to be something she was passionate about…

After unfulfilling agency jobs following college, Tracy considered joining the Peace Corp or AmeriCorps, with the dream of helping families in need. However, she wanted to stay local with her now-husband. An opportunity to help those in her area presented itself to assist the impoverished children of the poorest, most dangerous city in America…through gardening.

Camden, NJ was more of a calling than a career! Tracy spent ten years managing Public Relations and Events at the Camden Childrens Garden (CCG). She felt truly blessed to be helping families and working in the beautiful 4.5-acre garden on Camden’s waterfront and transforming 100s of trashed lots into food-producing gardens! Tracy cherished her time promoting the cause, as well as, mentoring Camden youth and growing the Camden Community & School Gardening Program.

Tracy cultivated relationships with health leaders, green partnerships and media, to grow the CCG’s mission through accomplishments such as:

Tracy brings to the #PlantsPower Community, an extensive health-related event planning background! At one time, she operated the Event Services Office for BOTH Campuses of Drexel University College of Medicine and Drexel’s center city Philadelphia Campus, which then hosted all DU Nursing and Public Health programs. While working at Drexel, Tracy started her own consulting company.

Planning & Publicity by Tracy Tomchik, LLC (PPbyTT), was founded in 2009! Now, married Tracy Nyszczot used PPbyTT, to take on her former employer Drexel on as a client to streamline infrastructure and create the department’s website.
Tracy Nyszczot also wanted to utilize her consultant company PPbyTT as a vehicle to go back to the impoverished Camden, NJ to assist her former employer (aka “Garden Family”) with their goal to fight hunger and obesity through community gardening and education.

Through her company, PPbyTT, Tracy Nyszczot also collaborates in community projects that include MS Leaders Circle Preakness at the Piazza; Vision 2020 for Women Equality; Networking for A Cause to help local charities and entrepreneurs, and PPbyTT established the Ladies for Lemons to support Alex’s Lemonade Foundation for Childhood Cancer.

Growing on the work of her clients and other resources, Tracy launched PPbyTT.blog in 2010, recently rebranded as PlantsPowerPurpose Blog. This Blog is for women wanting a well-balanced life through the power of plants, health, green-living, empowerment, wellness, fitness, and fun! Through her blog, Tracy takes her readers along as she rediscovers herself beyond the job of “mom”, and reawakens a deep connection to #PlantsPower!

HOW DO OILS COME INTO THE PICTURE?
Often featured in her blog and events, PPbyTT’s newest branch is essential oils. Her partnership with Young Living and #TeamYLlifestyle further aligns to her lifelong love of #PlantsPower and nature’s ability to benefit the body to change people’s lives! Now, Tracy utilizes #PlantsPower to face her health challenges and protect her family against harsh chemicals! Although she never envisioned that she would be a part of a multilevel marketing organization or sell product, oils just came naturally! Tracy loved the lifestyle change that oils easily provided for her family to achieve objectives of incorporating more plants (and their benefits) into today’s busy life! She just started sharing her story with her friends, family and now blog community…
